We are seeking an experienced Senior B2B Integration Developer & Architect (L3) responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing integrations built on IBM Sterling B2B Integrator and IBM Sterling File Gateway. 

The role requires deep technical expertise in Sterling Integrator business process development using BPML language, production support, and integration troubleshooting in a high-availability B2B environment.

You will act as highest technical escalation level (L3), resolving complex integration issues and implementing enhancements to business processes and trading partner integrations.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Support (L3):

·         Provide Level 3 technical support for applications running on IBM Sterling B2B Integrator and IBM Sterling File Gateway.

·         Investigate and resolve complex incidents, failures, and performance issues.

·         Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent fixes.

·         Support 24/7 critical integration platform operations (on-call if required).

·         Analyze logs, process data, and transaction flows.

Development & Enhancements

·         Develop and modify Business Processes using BPML language.

·         Installation and configuration of multi-node architecture environments, including upgrades and platform migration

·         Create and maintain:

o   Business Processes

o   Services and adapters configuration

o   Maps and workflows

·         Implement new file-based integrations and partner onboarding.

·         Optimize existing business processes for performance and reliability.

Monitoring & Troubleshooting

·         Monitor Sterling platform health and transaction processing.

·         Troubleshoot:

o   Failed business processes

o   File transfer issues

o   Mapping errors

o   Connectivity problems

·         Work with infrastructure teams on:

o   JVM issues

o   Database connectivity

o   Cluster nodes

o   Virtualization platform the solution is running on

Documentation & Governance

·         Maintain documentation for:

o   Business processes

o   Integration flows

o   Troubleshooting guides

·         Follow change management and release procedures.

Technical Skills

Core Skills

·         Strong experience with IBM Sterling B2B Integrator

·         Strong experience with IBM Sterling File Gateway

·         Development of Business Processes using BPML language

·         Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, Perl, Shell scripting) for automating MFT processes.

·         Sterling services and adapters configuration

·         File transfer protocols: SFTP, FTPS, AS2

·         XML, XSLT, XPath

·         Troubleshooting Sterling process failures

·         Strong hands on knowledge in installing/upgrading IBM Sterling Integrator, applying fix packs, and handling version updates

·         Ability to create and maintain high quality technical documentation (installation guides, SOPs, knowledge base articles)

·         Excellent understanding of security protocols and encryption methods related to file transfer.

Platform Knowledge

·         Linux/Unix environments - RHEL

·         SQL and database troubleshooting

·         Application logs and debugging

·         Integration patterns and middleware architecture

·         Knowledge of DevOps / CI-CD practices.
